Taecyeon and Kim Soo Hyun are the leads of Dream High





Upcoming KBS2 drama, Dream High already pulled interest many people as this drama will be the first collaboration between Korea’s top entertainment firms JYP Entertainment (JYPE) and KEYEAST.
Park Jin Young, fame producer who also JYPE’s boss and Bae Young Jun (Keyeast) worked together for Dream High, a  musical drama, centers around the students of an arts high school, tells story of their incidents, conflicts and love.
The characters will do many sing, dance and performance together.


And after weeks of casting, Dream High finally revealed the male leads.
Kim Soo Hyun is the first cast to be confirmed. The 22 years old was attracting many people through his performance as young Ko Soo inWill It Snow for Christmas and also the recent drama Giant where he plays young Lee Bum Soo.
Kim Soo Hyun’s role in Dream High is Song Sam Dong, a boy who falls for a girl and follows her to arts high school and there he discover his hidden talent in music and starts his way to become a pop star.
And yesterday, the second cast was confirmed. It’s Taecyeon from Kpop idol band 2PM.
Dream High will mark second debut for Taecyeon who made actor debut earlied this year in hit drama Cinderella’s Sister as a single-minded boy who loves his noona.

IDream High, Taecyeon will play Jin Kook , a talented dancer who has been kicked out of a school for performing arts but the called back by request from the chairman of the school.
After the male leads, who’s the pick for the female ?
Rumor has it that Han Eun Jung from Kpop group T-ara is considered. She already in this year SBS drama, Coffee House as bubble secretary girl. She’s very likely to join Dream High as she and Taecyeon belongs to JYP management.
Dream High will replace Moon Geun Young and Jang Geun Suk’s Mary Stayed Out All Night , starts  January 3, 2011.



Bae Yong Joon upcoming drama : Dream High




Dream High” is high school drama about the dreams of students who attend a performing arts school with the storyline to be relayed through song and dance.
This project is jointly produced by cable unit CJ Media and major talenthouses JYP Entertainment (JYPE) and KEYEAST.

Bae Yong Joon, KEYEAST’s major shareholder,  take part in the planning and production of the drama, while famed producer Park JinYoung, also the founder and CEO of JYPE, will arrange and produce the music and choreography for Dream High musical numbers.
Dream High will open an audition to search it’s actors and actresses.
There will be three rounds audition where the final chosen candidate will be the cast for Dream High.
Anyone aged 16 to 35, who can acting, singing and dancing can submit a video showing your talent to KEYEAST website.

Dream High will premiere in KBS2 , January 2011
